To the Editor:
The "Operation Yellow Ribbon" (April 21, 2004 article) campaign was one of the most touching shows of support for our troops that the servicemen and women could ever hope for. Congratulations to Heather Harsh, Marshall, Cheyanna and Susan Norman for their efforts. This very visible display along Main Streetin Bloomer demonstrates just howthe initiativess of a few can make a difference.

Just as during previous wars, we now need to let the men and women of the armed services know that we support them. "Operation Yellow Ribbon" does not take a position for or against the war in Iraq. It is, however, an express of gratitude to the military personnel who are presently makeing sacrifices to asure our freedom. The unselfish show of support by these four patriots is worthy of much acclaim. Thank you for your concern.
